Prosperity

I have been reading a lot recently about out general attitude to prosperity as you have probably noticed. Interestingly enough we are usually standing in our own way of abundance and prosperity. Our ingrained information from childhood defines much of how we think now. If you have constantly heard such things as 'money doesn't grow on trees' or 'no we can't afford it' then you too have probably built up a belief of not deserving, unobtainable and many more such phrases.

As someone who, as a child, believed that God was a part of us and lived within us, but was discouraged by all for thinking this way, I must say I have drifted far away from the church, any church and their teachings. To this day I have kept my belief that God is within each and every one of us. I also believe that almost every church, religion, sect or even coven on this planet, and please forgive me if you think otherwise, is more about control than about God.

My vision of God is of a loving Father who wishes each and every one of us health, wealth and happiness. I have always worked alone as a healer, I have always felt an incredible connection to God and those in my soul group who are there to help me, but I have found it very difficult to see the truth in the preachings of those I have come across professing to be religious. I am calling them preachings as it seems to me that they always want to 'get you on their side' or 'teach you the right way to think'. I am not condemning anyone for the way they think and their beliefs I just think that things need to be looked at on a far grander scale than most religions do.

Ok I have drifted off a bit as to what I began to say. The reason I mention God is because the books I am reading on prosperity have very much to do with God and our connection, expectations etc. of God. The way we look at our lives and our beliefs in regard to God has much to do with how our lives are. We need to change the way we look at our Universe, our connection to God and the abundance that is offered to us if only we would take it. I must admit as I started to read I was a little taken aback at the constant references to God and initially thought oh no not another preacher. Having said that, you are not committed to doing anything other than reading the book and taking what you need from it. That for me is the most important thing - I am a free spirit and do not wish to 'belong' to a body of people who think in a certain way and have no time for other thoughts. I am at one with, my own connection to God, my spirituality, my life, and live with good intent. My beliefs are my own which I do not impose on anyone.

Anyway to get back on track, help is at hand, and we can change our way of thinking and believing. Taking certain phrases, that will help us towards prosperity and abundance, and saying them consistently over time, even if at first we do not quite believe it, will work on your subconscious beliefs and make changes in your life. Some things will change immediately, some things will take longer but we can use our own innate wisdom and understanding to change our life.

So if you are interested in turning your life around have a look at the book on Prosperity on the front page of my website www.soulenergyrising.com and begin!!

Turning Dreams Into Reality

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big and how many times have we dreamt of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?

Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher and actually believed in ourselves and that dreams can come true.

The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this. So you are already defeated, your dreams are crumbling right before your eyes.

Think about it, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

People will always tell you that your dreams are impossible to make into reality but - as the well known quote goes - 'If you don't have a dream, how you' gonna make that dream come true?'

See your dreams, focus on what you desire, believe that it is possible, expect it to happen, if you can do this every single day, then things will happen that make everything you every dreamt of come true.

It has got to be worth a try, hasn't it?

MOTIVATION, THE HEART OF SELF IMPROVEMENT

Have you ever thought about why people change or what the underlying factor is in looking towards self-improvement.

Pain may sometimes be the reason why people change. Getting bad grades makes us realize that we need to study. Debts remind us of our inability to find a good source of income. Being humiliated gives us the ‘push’ to speak up and fight for ourselves, to save face from the next embarrassment. It may be a bitter experience, a friend’s tragic story, a great movie, or an inspiring book that will help us get up and find just the right amount of motivation we need in order to improve ourselves.

The key factor in self improvement is motivation, without which there is no driving force to change and so nothing would be achieved.

With the countless negativities in the world around us, how do we keep motivated? It is very hard but I found some interesting tips from A-Z that might inspire you and so I want to share them with you...

A - Achieve your dreams. Avoid negative people, things and places. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

B - Believe in yourself, and in what you can do.

C – Consider things from every angle and aspect. Motivation comes from determination. To be able to understand life, you should feel the sun from both sides.

D – Don’t give up and don’t give in. Thomas Edison failed once, twice, more than three times before he came up with his invention and perfected the incandescent light bulb. Make motivation your steering wheel.

E – Enjoy work as if you don’t need money, dance as if nobody’s watching, love as if you’ve never cried, learn as if you’ll live forever. Motivation takes place when people are happy.

F – Family and Friends – are life’s greatest treasures. Don’t loose sight of them.

G – Give more than enough. Where does motivation and self improvement take place at work, at home, at school? Wherever you exert extra effort in doing things.

H – Hang on to your dreams. They may dangle in there for a moment, but these little stars will be your driving force.

I – Ignore those who try to destroy you or put you down. Don’t let other people get the best of you. Stay away from people who hate to hear about your success they are not true friends.

J – Just be yourself. The key to success is to be yourself. And the key to failure is to try to please everyone by being what they want you to be.

K – Keep trying, no matter how hard life may seem. When a person is motivated, they strive joyfully to their goals and follow their dreams.

L – Learn to love yourself. Now isn’t that easy?

M – Make things happen. Motivation is when your dreams are put into work clothes.

N – Never lie, cheat or steal. Always play a fair game.

O – Open your eyes to all that you experience in life and if it is not what you want then change it. Change is under your control.

P – Practice makes perfect. Practice is about motivation. It lets us learn repertoire and ways in which can we recover from our mistakes.

Q – Quitters never win. And winners never quit. So, choose your fate – are you going to be a quitter or a winner?

R – Ready yourself. Motivation is also about preparation. We must hear the little voice within us telling us to get started before others try to push us around. Remember, it wasn’t raining when Noah build the ark.

S – Stop procrastinating.

T – Take control of your life. Discipline or self control jives synonymously with motivation. Both are key factors in self improvement.

U – Understand others. If you know very well how to talk, you should also learn how to listen. Yearn to understand first, and then to be understood.

V – Visualize your dreams. Motivation without vision is like a boat on a dry land.

W – Want it more than anything. Feel it, experience the emotion of what you want and the way it makes you feel having it. Dreaming means believing and to believe is something that extends out from the core understanding of motivation and self improvement.

X – X Factor is what will make you different from the others. When you are motivated, you tend to achieve more “extras” in your life, like extra time for family, extra help at work, extra care for friends, and so on.

Y – You are unique. No one in this world looks, acts, or talks like you. Value your life and existence, because you’re just going to spend it once.

Z – Zero in on your dreams and go for it!!!

Hope you can work with some of these to improve your life. Until tomorrow, love and light.
