Transformation - A Poem and Painting

Hi there again, hopefully you will have a chance to try some meditation soon, it really does make a difference to how you see your world. I thought I would add another of my poems today along with one of my paintings.

Transformation

The child within sits weeping alone
There is no one to tell in this great unknown
The child knows only what it has felt
Accepting unknowingly the cards it has been dealt

But you are that child and you have a choice
Let out your feelings and give them a voice
Allow your child holding onto your fears
To let go and release it all with your tears

Be it tears of joy or tears of sadness
Let them go and your heart will feel gladness
Lead the child within you into the light
Feel togetherness with a loving new insight

A child within is also without
Let it come forth and begin to shout
Show the world your beauty hidden deep within
Become who you are and let life begin

Let's start again!

Ok, this time things are going to be different - let's just hope I can keep it up! I do find it very hard to find time in my day to write about what is going on and how I am getting on with my art creations but I have now promised myself that I will post at least every other day if I can't make it every day.

I have been an artist for several years and up until this year had not really exposed it to the public - not because I didn't want to but because I was not sure how to. Galleries and exhibitions were always really expensive and bringing up three children on your own does not always allow any loose change for showing your artwork. But now we have the 'Internet' wow! what a difference that has made to artists all around the world. The most incredible opportunities are opening where we are able to actually have galleries at next to no cost, we can have prints made and sold without having to pay up front.

So with all of these new opportunities available I made a decision. I opened a couple of galleries on different websites and the most amazing thing happened, within one month of opening them I had commissions for several very large paintings, which I might add I am still working on now.
